The festival will offer attendees a chance to experience the diverse cultures of Asia, Hawaii and
the Pacific Islands. The festival expects over 70 vendors and 50 performers on 2 separate stages.
A Community Tent will also bring an educational component to the festival by providing
language and cultural lessons as well as family friendly activities.
The Boulder Asian Festival has always embraced the cultures and communities of Asia, as well
as those of Hawaii and the Pacific Islands. In addition, Asian immigrants have influenced the
culture of Hawaii throughout the years. Today Hawaii is a truly a melting pot of many cultures,
beliefs, and heritage, as showcased in previous Colorado Aloha Festivals.
BAPA and Halau Hula o na Mauna Pohaku have collaborated on a joint festival as an
opportunity to bring together the various communities to celebrate and share their culture and
heritage with the citizens in the greater Boulder/Denver area.
